Boot Worn by John Wilkes Booth

 This is a photograph of the boot that John Wilkes Booth was wearing on the night of April 14, 1865, when he shot Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theater. After Booth shot the President, he jumped from the President's box to the stage, breaking his leg when he landed.
